Uncanny Valley must be an expensive as hell place to film in.

This stuff brings back memories.

Someone finally went and combined the two genres everyone says they hate whenever they say "I like every genre of music!!! ... Except for ___ and ______."

And the result is amazing.

Too much busy music with words lately.

Time to have another ambient/space music phase.

Today I got promoted to Lance Cpl., and had some of Master Sgt's venison stew from the buck he shot during his Thanksgiving hunting trip. In a mug. If there is something more manly than having a steaming mug of pureed deer I don't know what is. The only thing we were missing was an oaken table and horns of mead.

Thinking I should get around to scanning all the sketches I did at bootcamp. After coffee maybe.

That said, when I think of Black Friday, this is all that comes to mind:



I'll never forget when I met Sgt. Bachicha on Black Friday. He gave me a good tossing and ITed me in ways which should be humanly impossible during 1st phase, but what he did to this one guy on Black Friday, Recruit Olsen, was even better. He made Olsen cry by means which I can't remember or didn't witness. That's hardly unusual, since a lot of people freak out and cry in 1st phase. But once the tears started flowing from Olsen, Sgt Bachicha roughly wiped his finger across the pudgy recruit's cheek, dabbed the tears into his mouth, then laughed an utterly insane, high-pitched shrieking giggle, like the Joker or some kind of Disney villain, and boasted that he just devoured Olsen's soul.

I'm not a superstitious person at all, and what Sgt. Bachicha did was all just part of the DI mindgame. But Olsen got an ELS discharge and was sent home in shame a few weeks later.

I still owe Sgt. Bachicha a drawing of him making then-Recruit Moon silent warcry.
